COLD- BLOODED ANIMALS - These are animals whose body temperature
goes with the temperature of their environment.
STOMACH - It is an elastic large muscular pear-shaped
bag with a multi-chambered organ located crosswise in the abdominal cavity beneath the diaphragm.
ADAPTATION - It is the ability of the animals to adjust
to certain environmental condition.
HABITAT - It is the place where animals live.
WARM – BLOODED ANIMALS -They have a body temperature that remains
almost constant even if the temperature changes.
HEART - It is a hollow muscular organ located in the
chest cavity between the lungs.
LIVER - Its primary function is to take away toxins out
of the blood.
GALL BLADDER - It acts as reservoir for holding bile on its way
from liver to the intestines.
LUNGS - Their main function is to combine oxygen with
the blood and to eliminate carbon dioxide.
KIDNEYS - Its major function is to sustain the body’s
chemical balance by getting out waste products and excess fluid in the form of urine.
PANCREAS - It produces enzymes that break our food down
small enough to be absorbed into our body and produces the hormones insulin and glucagon. URINARY BLADDER - Its main function is to collect urine excreted by the kidneys before disposal by the process called urination.
AORTA – major artery of the body
SMALL INTESTINE – it is where final digestion takes place
VENTRICLES – the pumping chambers of the heart.
