Prayer is a way to communicate with God, Jesus Christ, angels, saints and other spiritual beings. It is considered the purest expression of religion and allows people to connect with God by expressing thoughts, asking for guidance, offering thanks, and requesting protection or forgiveness. Prayer can be a form of meditation focused on God or a spiritual pilgrimage where one moves closer to God's presence. The document includes two examples of prayers - one for a family giving thanks for blessings, asking forgiveness for sins, and requesting protection, and another prayer for a school thanking God for knowledge and learning during the pandemic while asking for guidance, good health and protection for all involved with the school.

What is Prayer? A prayer is what we pray at night. But let us open
up our minds and look for an inspiring and a powerful/unique definition. Prayer, a prayer has many uses. It can be a way to communicate to God, Jesus Christ, Angels, Saints, Mama Mary, the Holy Spirit, and many more powerful spirits. Prayer is considered by many to be the purest in expressing the essential elements of a religion. It is also a special way to connect with God and it is also a way to pray for our loved ones especially those who passed away. Prayer is described not only as meditation about God but as a step, a “going out of one’s self,” a pilgrimage of the spirit “in the presence of God.”
Prayer for my Family
(In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.) Lord God, we thank you for all the blessings you gave us as a family. We thank you for the delicious food that we receive. Thank you for all the successful achievements and challenges we faced together as a family. We may have bad times and commit sins. Therefore, we ask forgiveness for all the sins we committed. We would like to thank you also for our healthy mind & body. Although the environment is not 100% safe for now, we know you will guide us and protect us from danger. Whatever plans you have for us; we trust you always. We ask for protection during this dangerous pandemic and we offer you our life and we give you glory. We love you always and forever, amen. (In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.)
