THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION To ensure fleet cost (procurement, maintenance, fuel) are cost effective To maximize productivity by insuring that products get from point A to B with speed and efficiency whilst all vehicles are properly maintained based on the needs of their Company. JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THIS POSITION Follow up exemptions for the assigned company’s imported goods. Timely facilitation of SUMATRA logistics. Facilitate transfer of vehicles ownership to company name. Facilitate registration of all company’s vehicles. Follow up on the TRA documentations as instructed by your line manager. Organize all work files to ensure it has all necessary documents and information are well kept for easy tracing. Carry out regular inspections on designated new and on road vehicles/trucks as per fleet management framework. Follow up on vehicle/truck maintenances and services as per the company procedures. Maintain records of your daily movements in the logbook prepared by the company and ensure it is always signed by your line manager. Inform your line manager on your whereabouts during the working hours. Maintaining high degree of discipline and confidentiality while discharging your work. Carry out any other duties as directed by the superior.
