9018/9028 Counters

Compatibility with 9020

Behavior of counters on 9018 and 9028 models is similar to the previous model 9020.
Two independent alphanumeric counters are available in 9018 and 9028.
They can be inserted in the message with the option to be linked.

Limitation:
Counters can not be resetted or incremented by an external input (no industrial interface)

Counter menu and parameters

Like 9020, the counter parameters are accessible directly in the Message Editing menu:

During a message creation, the counters can be inserted from the menu Variables.
The counter parameters are saved with each message using them.

Visualization of the counters

During production the operator can visualize quickly the current counter value by using the short
key F5, from the icon menu.

A new screen is displayed giving the current counter value and possibility to reset the counters
(Init)

Quick modification of the start value

For example by pressing TAB key on the Ctr1 line it is possible for the customer to change the
start value. This could be something useful when has to restart a production after a stop or a jam
on the line.

Then it is possible to visualize the new start value set in the production menu

Quick reset to initial value

This is possible by using the TAB key to tick the Init box accordingly.
Immediately the counter value is reset to its initial value.

Note: all these actions are also possible directly from the Production window, in the menu
