The document is a student activity from the University of Caloocan City where the student was asked to draw symbols representing different types of love and explain the meanings. The student drew: a heart with an arrow for Eros to represent passionate/sexual love; a wink emoticon for Ludus to represent playful flirting; a couple with a heart between them for Storge to represent familial love; a wedding ring for Pragma to represent long-term commitment; and a tree for Agape to represent selfless love for all living things.

Kind of Love Symbol Explain
Eros is erotic or sexual or passionate love and its
EROS symbol is heart with an arrow because it's more about the person who's feeling sexually attractive than it is about the person who is the focus of that love or thing that is the focus of that love. It is addicting. In the Old Testament, the concept of eros is used to describe the physical and sensual connection between a husband and wife. Ludus symbol is a wink emoticon because Ludus is LUDUS very flirtatious and fun, without the strings that come with eros or pragma. It can be seen in the very early stages of relationships, when two people are flirting, courting each other, and crushing on each other. It often involves laughing, teasing, and feeling giddy around a person. It's very childlike in that way, though it can certainly evolve. Storge symbol is a couple and a heart in the middle STORGE of them because for me having family start with a couple and the heart between them is their love for each other. Storge is the love shared between family members (typically immediate family), and sometimes close family friends or friends from childhood. It differs from philia in the way that it's reinforced by blood, early memories, and familiarity. Storge is compassionate, protective, and deeply rooted in memory. Pragma is sometimes translated to practical love,
PRAGMA referencing the kind of love grounded in duty, commitment, and practicality. Also, Pragma requires a commitment to each other and might be thought of as a conscious choice or perhaps as the type of love that takes years to develop through bonding and shared experiences. Pragma for me represent wedding, a wedding ring it symbolizes their longstanding relationship and life partnership like an old couple that's been together for decades and decades. Agape is selfless love, like the kind you might AGAPE associate with saintly figures like Mother Teresa or activists like Malala. Agape for me symbolizes a tree a life because it's the love you feel for all living things without question, that you extend knowingly without expectations for anything in return. It's a very pure and conscious love. It's similar to what we sometimes refer to as unconditional love.
