About the role

Bettersource is seeking to internally hire an experienced individual to help drive its online marketing,
public relations, and external communications work streams. Reporting to the Marketing and
Operations Director, the individual will play a key role in strengthening the company’s brand, and
building long-term client relationships. The key responsibilities will be to:

● Generate engaging and insightful online marketing content across major channels: website,
email marketing, and social media.
● Support other marketing-related content and brand building activities, as needed.
● Research the Australian media industry and reach out to contacts for public relations
engagement.
● Organise and execute online thought leadership activities including webinars, podcasts, etc.
● Support external and client relations activities.
● Support the sales team with relevant content and external stakeholders’ feedback.

About you

● A creative and energetic individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills in
English.
● Minimum Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, media studies, journalism, or other
relevant discipline from a top-tier institution; Master’s degree preferred.
● At least 2-3 years of experience in a marketing or external stakeholder management role.
● Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is required: content marketing, brand
management, public relations, external communications, or account management.
● Graphic design and video editing abilities are desirable.
