Instructor Course Overview

Mr. Avery Rabon In choir, you will be learning how to use your voice properly, how to sight-sing
music, basic music vocabulary, basic music theory, ensemble singing, and how to
evaluate performances. It is a collaborative environment that not only creates strong

 Daily Grades 45%

o Weekly Rehearsal Grade (See Handbook)
o Skills and Fundamentals (Individual Assessments, written or recorded)

 Major Grades 50%

o Performances (Recorded or live) and Singing Tests
 Reading and Writing Assignment 5%
