Content Creator Sample Task

Task
Prepare a content material on Ratio to be used by the faculty for their class using the
presentation template provided. For this task read the “How to Create Slides” from the Content
Creator manual. We will also be learning about comprehension and therefore some paragraphs
on theory will be provided, which needs to be read by the intern and then try to summarize the
main points in bullet in the content slide.

Structure of presentation
Content being prepared will be structured such that first there will be title slide, then basic theory
and then some questions on that theory.

Checklist
1. Ensure that font and text size is as given in the Content Creator manual.
2. Content should not overlap with the brown area reserved for video section
3. Sufficient space should be available on each slide for providing space to faculty for
writing and explaining the concepts. Minimum 50% area of text box should be empty.
4. Mock/ CAT year no is to be marked on all the questions given in the slide
5. Whenever in doubt, make a note of it in word file and discuss during interaction with
faculty.

Example 6

A sum of money is split among Amal, Sunil and Mita so that the ratio of the shares
of Amal and Sunil is 3:2, while the ratio of the shares of Sunil and Mita is 4:5. If
the difference between the largest and the smallest of these three shares is Rs 400,
then Sunil’s share, in rupees, is (CAT-2020)

Example 7

Anmol and Bhuvesh invested Rs.1500 and Rs.2000 respectively in a firm. After 4
months, they admit Suresh who contributed Rs.2250. Bhuvesh withdraws his
contribution after 9 months. What would be Bhuvesh’s share if the profit at the
end of the year was Rs. 900?

Example 8

X began a business with Rs.450. Then, after few months Y joined him with a
capital of Rs.300. In the end, the profits were distributed in the ratio of 2:1. After
how long did Y join?
