Completed restoration of Office Car 04982 which was used on the line for maintenance-ofway crews Restoration of Railway Post Office Car 54 is well underway. When completed, this will be the only thoroughly restored example of this class of car Tourist Sleeper # 252 built in 1880 to transport workers to the West. Restoration has begun, with the initial assessment and master restoration plan completed Initiated restoration of derrick OP which was used for clearing train wrecks Initiated restoration of two frameless tank cars used to haul crude oil from Chama to the refinery in Alamosa during the oil boom in the 1930s-1950s.
