1 INTRODUCTION

Sitamma Sagar Multi-Purpose Project located at Downstream of existing Dummugudem anicut

near Bhadradri - Kothagudem district consists of Barrage with radial gates and hoisting
arrangements including Formation of Guide Bunds on either side of barrage with Protection
arrangements across Godavari river and Navigation channel on right bank.

A bridge of span 98 m is proposed over bund on L2 stream. An arrangement of 2 nos. of 70R

capacity Bridges with walk way on one side of each bridge are proposed for catering the need
of movement of vehicle for 2-way traffic. The superstructure arrangement is provided as per
MORTH standard drawing available for 24m span. 1 in 30 Ramps shall be provided from Road
level to meet the existing road level on either side
