Recuadro 1
The book deals with the different types of migrations (by air, water, land), as well as the
different species that migrate (whether they are animals or insects) and the different and
the different reasons why they migrate.
Recuadro 2 hoja 2

The book in general did not have great complications, although it had its own
vocabulary I didn’t know about.

I liked the illustrations. They were appropriate to the subject matter being
discussed, and in some cases, facilitated understanding of what was being said.

I like the book because I like animals and I like to learn more about them. I
thought it was interesting since there were things I didn’t know. It was an
entertaining book.

I liked when he talked about dragonflies and butterflies as I was completely

unaware that insects migrated and I found that information very interesting.

Yes, after talking about the different types of migrations, talks about the changes
they went through and the reasons. For example, the complications that bears
have to hunt seals because of the melting of climate change. At the end of the
book it says that the planet must be kept clean and safe to protect the animals,
and who hopes that, having read this book, the reader become more aware to
care for the earth and its inhabitants.

I know
1) I knew birds flew in a v-shape to facilitate flight.
2) He also knew that birds, whales and fish migrated.
3) He knew that migration was often due to climate change that is not favorable in
some at any given time of year.
Want to know:
1) I wanted to know more about animal behavior
2)  I wanted to learn more about migration behavior
3) I Wanted
I learned:
1) I learned that both dragonflies and monarch butterflies migrate and that the
latter, living less than a year, do not make the same trip twice.

2) I learned that there is vertical migration, performed by animals like plankton, in

which they migrate upward from the water during the night, and descend during
the day. The jellyfish, which feed on these animals, make the same migration.

3) I learned that animals like goats, sheep, deer, go up in summer to the mountains
because there are fewer predators.
