The Amount of Sales of Malaysian Online Stores and Strategies Taken to Increase Amount of

Sales in 2015 and 2016

Figure 1 shows the amount of sales of Malaysian online stores and strategies taken to
increase amount of sales (2015 and 2016). Generally, the amount of sales of Malaysian online
stores (2015 and 2016) was influenced by the strategies taken to increase amount of sales.
In 2015, the amount of sales for 21street is the lowest at RM50000 than Lazomba that
recorded more higher at RM70000 because 21street only have 3 strategies “Accepts cash on
delivery, presents attractive webpage, offers competitive prices” and Lazomba have 5
strategies “ allow payment via credit cards, accepts cash on delivery, presents attractive
webpage, offers competitive prices, offers free gifts”. In 2016, Lazomba increased from
RM70000 to RM140000 that recorded more higher than 21street because Lazomba added 3
strategies which are “offers variety of items, offers e-coupons as discount, provides fast
delivery” and 21street remained unchanged at RM50000 because 21street used the same
strategies in 2015.
In conclusion, the amount of sales of Malaysian online stores were affected by the
strategies taken to increase amount of sales.
