Effects of Mobile Phone Texting/Messaging on the Spelling and
Grammar Composition of the students of Sacpil National High
School

Statement of the Problem:

This study aims to show the effects of Mobile Phone Texting


or Messaging on the spelling and grammar composition of the
students of Sacpil National High School. It shows that the
frequent used of technology is not beneficial to the learners’
performance because of the kind of messages and language they
use. These effects could affect the output of the students’
and so with their performance in formal writings. Thus, the
extensive used of text messaging vocabularies lead to poor
structured writing produced by the learners. This study aims
to answer the following questions.
1. What kind of language is attributed to the frequent use of
Internet Mediated Communication (IMC)?
2. What are the strategies that are adopted by the IMC users
in order to interact?
3. Does the IMC affect the learners’ spelling and writing?

Efficacy of Philippines Informal Reading Intervention (PHIL-
IRI) on the reading level of Grade 7 students of Sacpil
National High School.

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to analyze the efficacy of Phil-IRI on


the reading level of the Grade 7 students of Sacpil National
High School. Specifically, it seeks to answer the following
questions:

1. What is the current reading level of the students before and


After the implementation of the Phil-IRI Program at Sacpil
National High School?

2. What are the factors influencing the success of Phil-IRI on the


reading level of the students?

Improving the English Spelling Ability through Concentration
Game and Tell A Story Game of the Grade 7 Learners of Sacpil
National High School.

Statement of the Problem

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of


Concentration Game and Tell a Story Game in improving the
English Spelling Ability of the Grade 7 learners of Sacpil
National High School. Specifically, it answers the following
questions:

1. Can Concentration Game and Tell A Story Game improve the


English spelling ability of Grade 7 students?

2. How far can these games improve the Grade 7 students’


English spelling ability?
