Title: GRACE (Guided Reading as Aid in Comprehension Enhancement): A
Strategy to Enhance Grade 9 Students’ Reading Comprehension Skills
Statement of the Problem
This action research aims to determine the effect of Guided Reading
as Aid in Comprehension Enhancement (GRACE) in improving the reading
comprehension skills of Grade 9 students of Tuguegarao City Science
High School for the Academic year 2022-2023.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problems:

1. What are the mean pretest scores and mean posttest scores of
the students in each of the two groups?
2. Is there a significant difference in the mean pretest scores
and mean posttest scores of the two groups?
3. Is there a significant increase in the mean pretest score and
mean posttest score of each of the groups?
4. What plan of action can be proposed to enhance the reading
comprehension skills of Grade 9 students?

Statement of the Problem


With the growing popularity of podcasts as a form of entertainment
and education, this study aims to explore whether podcasts can be used
as a tool to improve listening comprehension in Grade 10 students of
Tuguegarao City Science High School for the Academic year 2022-2023.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problems:

1. What are the mean pretest scores and mean posttest scores of
the students in each of the two groups?
2. Is there a significant difference in the mean pretest scores
and mean posttest scores of the two groups?
3. Is there a significant increase in the mean pretest score and
mean posttest score of each of the groups?
Title: IMPROVES: Impact of Recording of Video for Enhancement of Grade
10 Students’ Speaking Fluency

Statement of the Problem


Video recording and self-assessment techniques have been used
successfully in other educational settings to promote self-reflection
and enhanced learning. However, it is not clear whether these
techniques can be effective in improving speaking fluency in high
school English classes. Therefore, this action research aims to
investigate the impact of video recording and self-assessment on the
speaking fluency in Grade 10 students of Tuguegarao City Science High
School for the Academic year 2022-2023, and to what extent these
techniques can improve their confidence and performance.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problems:

1. What are the mean pretest scores and mean posttest scores of
the students in each of the two groups?
2. Is there a significant difference in the mean pretest scores
and mean posttest scores of the two groups?
3. Is there a significant increase in the mean pretest score and
