This study seek to assess the reading comprehension level of
Grade 8 Students of Saints Philip and James Peñablanca Inc.
Specifically it will answer the following questions;
1) What is the profile of respondents in terms of:
a. age
b. gender
2. What is the performance of the respondents in the following
reading comprehension skills:
a. noting details
b. sequencing event
c. following precise directions
d. vocabulary skills
e. getting the main idea

relation to their Academic Performance”
