THREE PROPOSED TOPICS

1. TITLE: IMPROVING THE READING COMPREHENSION OF GRADE 2 CHICO AT STA.
MARIA CENTRAL SCHOOL THROUGH RECOM SYSTEM-REPEATED, ECHO, CHORAL AND
OBSERVABLE MODEL SYSTEM.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the RECOM_Repeated,
Echo, Choral and Observable Model System in reading fluency as predictor
in reading comprehension of Grade 2 learners. Specifically, it seeks to
answer the following questions:

1. What is the mean pretest score of the grade 2 learners before the
implementation of the RECOM-Repeated, Echo, Choral and Observable
Model system?
2. What is the posttest score of the grade 2 learners after the
implementation of the RECOM-Repeated, Echo, Choral and Observable
Model system?
3. IS there a significant difference on the scores of Grade 2 learners
before and after the implementation of the RECOM-Repeated, Echo,
Choral and Observable Model system?
4. What is the effect size of RECOM system as predictor of improving
reading comprehension of Grade 2 learners?

2. TITLE: IMPROVING COMPREHENSION OF KINDERGARTEN AT STA. MARIA CENTRAL

SCHOOL USING IBANAG AS MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION THROUGH PICTURE-BASED
VOCABULARY DEVELOPMENT

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The main purpose of this action research seeks to answer the following
questions:
1. What is the mean pre-test and posttest scores of the Kindergarten
Bronze learners before the implementation of the Larawan, Alamin at
Buuin Method and Kuwento, Alamin at Talakayin Method on the enrichment
of vocabulary and comprehension of kindergarten learners?

2. Is there a significant difference on the scores of the Kindergarten

Bronze learners before and after the implementation of the LAB Method
and KAT Method?

3. What is the effect size of LAB and KAT method on the enrichment of
vocabulary and comprehension of kindergarten learners?

3. TITLE: DRIVE- Doing Imperatively through Various Enhancement

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Of all the skills students learn, reading is arguably one of the most
important learning skill. Today, especially in the developed world, it
is considered a fundamental skill required for success.
This project aims to:
1. develop the following domains of literacy-phonics, word recognition,
fluency and comprehension among learners through varied learning
materials.
2. enhance the listening and viewing skills of learners through audio
and video materials
3. motivate learners to appreciate reading of different reading genre.
