Statement of the Problem
Reading is the primary path to knowledge. It is the most basic of
learning and all lessons in school need reading. As an individual
goes higher in the ladder of education, he must learn to read
comprehensively to enhance his levels of achievement.
The Grade IV are in transition stage, the pupils cannot recognize
well the different words due to the two years of learning at home
wherein there is no interaction between teachers and learners
specially in the barrio where gadgets is not possible.
Since reading is fundamental to every learner, we teachers play a
vital role to improve the reading performance of our pupils and
develop in them the love for reading.

2. Title
SHARE: An approach to Improve Reading Comprehension of Grade
IV pupils of Turod Elementary School
(SHARE) Supervise Hands-on Activities in Reading Exercises

Statement of the Problem


Reading is the key that unlocks the door to the world of
enlightenment and enjoyment, the basic tool for learning in
the content fields. A pupil who is deficient in reading,
especially, so, if he is a non-reader is placed in pitiable
situation. He is surely a lagger in almost all subjects for it
would be quite difficult for him to assimilate and interpret
something which he cannot read.

REAPS: An approach to Improve Reading Comprehension of Grade
IV pupils of Turod Elementary School
(REAPS) Reading Exercises through Activity Sheets, Passages
and Stories

Statement of the Problem


Reading comprehension is the ability to read text, process it
and understand its meaning. It is very important because
without it, the meaning and information that the author is
trying to impart is lost.
Pupils now a days like my Grade IV pupils have difficulty in
reading text, passages and stories much more on comprehension.
Hence, through reading, it helps an individual widen his
knowledge, gain understanding of the issues, discover new
ideas and solve his difficulties.
