Statement of the Problem
This study aims to determine the factors affecting the
participants reading comprehension in the New Normal.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:
1. What are the demographic profile of the participants in
terms of:
1.1 Student-participant
1.1.1 Age,
1.1.2. Time Spent in Reading, and
1.1.3. Reading Attitude
1.2 Teacher-participant
1.2.1 Age
1.2.2 Educational Attainment
1.3 Parent-participant
1.3.1 Age
1.3.2 Educational Attainment

2. What is the leaners’ level of reading comprehension?


3. Is there a significant difference in the reading
comprehension of the students when group according to
variables?

2.1 Mother’s educational attainment


2.2 Attitudes of the students towards reading; and,
2.3 Perceptions of the students’ regarding their teachers’
competence in teaching reading

4. What factors affect the comprehension level of the student-


participant as perceived by:

Title: THE IMPACT OF AUDIO-VISUAL MATERIALS ON LANGUAGE
ACHIEVEMENT OF GRADE 8 STUDENTS OF CUBAG INTEGRATED SCHOOL
Statement of the Problem
This study will focus on the impact and effect of audio-visual
materials to be used in teaching English of grade 8 students’
language achievement and what impact of these materials on
improving students' motivation.

This study specifically aims to determine the impact of


audio-visual materials and improving students’ motivation in
language achievement of grade 8 students and sought to answer
the following questions:

1. What are the profile of the respondents in terms of:


1.1 Age
1.2 Gender;
1.3 Economic Status

2. Do audio-visual materials have any effect on grade 8


students’ language achievements?

3. Do audio-visual materials have any effect on improving


students’ motivation?

4. Do students’ motivation have any effect on language


achievements?

Title: KNOW WHAT LEARN STRATEGY AND COMPREHENSION LEVEL AMONG


GRADE 8 STUDENTS IN ENGLISH

Statement of the Problem

The main objective of this study is to determine the comprehension


level among Grade 8 Students in English.
Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions.
1. What are the profile of the respondents in terms of:
1.1 Age
1.2 Gender;
1.3 Economic Status

2. What is the comprehension level in English among the


group taught with the lecture method and the group taught
with the use of Know What Learned Strategy?
3. Is there a significant difference in the comprehension
Level of pupils taught with the KWL and of pupils taught
with the lecture method?
