CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES ENCOUNTERED BY THE K-12 PIONEERS

AFTER COLLEGE GRADUATION

Statement of the Problem

Generally, the primary goal of this research is to identify the challenges and

opportunities that K-12 Pioneers face after graduating from college.

Specifically, it aims to answer the following questions:

1) What is the profile of the K-12 pioneers in terms of:

1.1. age;

1.2. gender;

1.3. previous strand;

1.4. course & specialization;

1.5. honors / awards received; and

1.6. monthly income (if employed)?

2) What are the significant challenges and opportunities encountered by the K-12

Pioneers after college graduation in terms of:

2.1. personal;

2.2. social; and

2.3. economic?

3) Is there a significant relationship between the profile of the K-12 Pioneers and

their challenges and opportunities after college graduation?
