Removing/installing

1 Open engine hood
2 Remove intake air hose upstream of air filter

3 Remove and separate the connector for the
temperature sensor downstream TWC
(B19/8x1) from the bracket at the air filter
4 Unclip electrical line to temperature sensor
downstream TWC (B19/8) from the retaining
clamps
5 Remove temperature sensor downstream of Installation: Coat thread of temperature
TWC (B19/8) sensor downstream of TWC (B19/8) with
heat-resistant lubricant.

6 Install in reverse order
7.1 Read out fault memory and erase If necessary
Connect up STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out AD00.00-P-2000-04A
