    El Filibusterismo
    Dr. Jose Rizal, best renowned for his political
    writings that sparked the Filipino revolution, is the
    author of El Filibusterismo. The term
    "Filibusterismo" refers to the notion that a colony
    should secede from its parent state. The novel El
    Filibusterismo is a homage to the three slain priests,
    expressing outrage over the way in which Spaniards
    caused their deaths and how cruel and inhumane
