Intellectual Revolution 1
Instruction: After reading and watching the videos on intellectual revolutions, apply
your understanding by answering the following question concisely.
1. What is an intellectual revolution?
- Greek speculation about "nature" prior to Socrates (roughly 600 to 400
BCE) is referred to as the "Intellectual Revolution." As a result, "pre-
Socratic," "non-theological," or "first philosophy" are alternative technical
terms. Remember that the "reasoning" being referred to has close to
nothing to do with morals, and substantially more to do with our idea of
material science or rationale. The Intellectual Revolution is the time when
people's perceptions and beliefs were altered by advances in science and
technology.

2. How do intellectual revolutions transform society?

- Through the development of our thinking abilities, intellectual revolutions
transformed societies. These revolutions transformed societies through
critical thinking, evaluation, innovation, and the creation of new equality
rules. In order to meet the requirements of society, it is an ongoing
process of development. It brings together our brilliant minds to bring
peace to the world. It is progressive in the sense that it invents everything
through brand-new experiences and discoveries.

3. How do the intellectual (scientific) revolution defines society?

- The term "intellectual revolution" refers to the era of paradigm shifts, or
shifts in scientific beliefs that have gained widespread acceptance. The
Intellectual Revolution is the time when people's perceptions and beliefs
were altered by advances in science and technology. Throughout history,
scientists have been driven to investigate the physical and natural world
by their curiosity, critical thinking, and inventiveness.

4. What do you think is an ideal society for an individual? Explain briefly.

- The ideal society is one in which just laws and representative leaders lead
a responsible population. These representative leaders would, in an ideal
society, be men and women with integrity whose noble goal is to serve the
public interest over any thought of personal gain.
5. What roles can you perform that will make a difference in your life? Why is it
important to know your roles in life? How can you perform it in life effectively?
- There are numerous roles that can assist us in making a difference in
someone else's life.
 Inspire: Being an "inspiration" for someone else is the most significant
and efficient way to do so. It is simple to inspire others, but it is
extremely challenging to inspire oneself. It's simple to make a
difference in someone's life if they see you as an inspiration.
 Love - love is most misconstrued and underestimated hypothesis. In
this day and age connection and desire between a man and a lady is
considered as an affection however that is false. When you care about,
comprehend, and respect someone, even if they are just a friend,
sibling, or anyone else, that is true love. People's lives can be
transformed by true love that is free of self-centeredness.
 Support and respect: Recognize that everyone is competing in a race
and that not all of them are victorious. Therefore, respecting others,
assisting them in achieving their objectives, and encouraging them to
improve themselves can have a positive impact on people's lives.
