Temperature, and

Heat
Thermal Energy

Thermal energy is the sum of kinetic energy

and potential energy of the particles that

make up an object. Thermal energy

describes the energy of the particles that

make up a solid, a liquid, or a gas. Thermal

means heat.

Temperature
Some people that temperature is just how hot or cold it is, but

scientists said that temperature is about the kinetic energy.

Temperature represents the average kinetic energy of the particles

that make up a material. If the kinetic energy moves faster, then it will

be hotter vice versa for the cold.

Temperature
Heat
The movement of thermal energy from a warmer object to a cooler object. To
summarize it, heat is when a cold object becomes hot or warm because of heat. Heat
is also the energy transferred from one object to another as a result of a difference in
temperature.
