Specific purpose
Energy is not only the essential commodity of human livelihood but also it can contribute to the future economic growth of a nation. Due to rapid development of human society now-a-days energy requirement is increasing day by day. As fossil fuel or other non renewable energy sources are not enough to fulfill our energy crisis and in case of environmental point of view non renewable energy sources are producing adverse pollution on air water and land. So it is very important to develop some new technique of new and renewable energy source which causes less environmental pollution and could fulfill the energy need of all people. Our region North-East India is a very resourceful region having a high scope for development of new and renewable energy. Our main purpose of organizing a seminar on new and renewable energy is to provide a platform to the researchers to find out a useful path of new and renewable energy source.

Objectives
a) To develop basic concept and principle behind renewable energy technology and which options are based for their needs b) To understand the different forms of renewable energy those are available c) To understand how renewable energy can start making energy efficient choices today.

d) To Conservation of energy and its management e) To develop renewable sources of energy and to meet energy requirement of rural community through proper utilization of renewable sources f) To Control Pollution by intensified used of new and renewable energy sources
