Đề IELTS Writing Task 1 ngày 08-05-2021

The given illustration compares the number of tourists who paid a visit to 4 different
museums in London. Overall, it is apparent that those museums witnessed an increase in
tourist attractions, despite some fluctuations during the examined months. It can also be
seen that the British museum is the most favored while the national spot stood at the bottom.

In June, starting at about 40000 visitors, the figure for the British Museum remained the
same level in the next month before reaching its peak at about 70000 people in August.
However, its number experienced a decrease by 30000 tourists in the last given month.
Likewise, the quantity of people visiting the History museum also shared the same trend. In
the first two month, its figures were stable, ranging slightly around 40000 tourists then
climbed to its top at exactly 60000 in August and ended up with a gradual decline to nearly
20000 people in October.

In terms of the remaining museums, the number of visitors for Science and National
Museum were trivial, ranging from approximately 20.000 to 40.000 people. The figure for the
former nearly doubled the latter in the given period. After peaking in September and August,
both figures for the remaining museums declined to 30.000 and above 20.000 visitors in the
last given month respectively.

Task 2: It is more important to spend public money on promoting a healthy

lifestyle in order to prevent illness than to spend it on treatment of people
who are already ill. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is true that many people argue that the government should allocate subsidies on promoting
a healthy lifestyle so as to decrease health diseases. While this seems a sensible point, i
strongly believe that we need to give priority on treatment for illness people when spending
public money.

On the one hand, it is undeniable that healthy lifestyle promotional campaigns would bring
considerable benefits to citizens' lives. In these days and ages, a hectic pace of life makes
everyone be faced with pressures and exhaustion, thus coming home from a packed day,
they are prone to lounge on the sofa. Eventually, more and more citizens are likely to adopt
a sedentary lifestyle and exercise never appears on their top agenda, which leads to an
increase in obesities, diabetes. These problems will be remarkably tackled if the government
distributes public money to conduct healthy lifestyle promotional campaigns. These projects
will not only provide healthy methods of life but also directly raise awareness and encourage
people to maintain fitness as well as a balanced diet.

On the other hand, disorders do not solely stem from an unbalanced lifestyle, for instance,
cancer, asthma or brain-damaged cases. Additionally, low income people can’t afford to pay
hospital fees especially when they suffer from serious illness. Money assistance from the
ministry will bring substantial benefits for these people and raise the likelihood to be cured.
Moreover, government subsidies also contribute to upgrading treatment facilities, thus
patients can access advanced treatment methods and hospitals can have enough financial
resources to conduct research on rare disorders. European countries, for example, their
government allocate a considerable amount of money on treatment and healthcare for
citizens, which make these nations become the dream lands for everyone in the world.

In conclusion, though promoting a healthy lifestyle is essential in the long run, immediate
spending money assistance on treatment for illness people will bring valuable opportunities
for many lives.
