Not everyone wants to procrastinate but the reality is that all of us sometimes

procrastinate because although it’s not a syndrome or anything like that, we can
say that it’s a straightforward method of easier excuses to stop doing things and
put them off for another day. In my case, when I have to do projects and
academic papers that are too complicated to finish on time, I decide to do
everything with only a few days or hours left to present them. In this essay, I’m
going to describe and illustrate how I procrastinate academically.
The first point I want to describe is that I always think of reasons to
put off studying. To procrastinate causes a lot of problems in my academic life
because I live in fear of making mistakes and I am careful not to make mistakes
when I study and ask myself questions about the various courses I take each
semester. I even motivate myself by saying that I have enough intelligence to
pass the exams but I end up doing other things instead of studying ahead of
time.
Another point to take into consideration is my unwillingness to submit my
assignments in advance. when I’m too tired to get any work done, I’d rather
write or read something and on many occasions, I’ve sent my homework a
minute short and I know it's wrong but I don't seem to have understood the
lesson because I keep procrastinating from time to time and mainly when I don't
feel like working all day and when I get stressed.
In conclusion, It is true that I have a serious academic procrastination problem
but I can find solutions in the motivations that I have in my day-to-day. And what
about you? What kind of procrastination do you practice in your daily life?
