Learning Outcome #1: 

Generating Inquiry. Students will be able to generate and explore

genuine lines of inquiry related to writing, language, literacy, and/or rhetoric.

For the first 15 minutes of class, I want you to:

1. Write about what you understand about this outcome

2. Explain why this outcome is important.

1. What I understand about this outcome is that students should be able to come up with a

question to research about in relation to a piece of literature and be able to explore that question.

2. This outcome is important because it allows students to understand how to generate a research

question from different types of literature and be able to learn from their research. It is also

important because it can help provide a different perspective on a certain topic.
