 Introducing
South Africa’s
leader in designer
dinnerware

The creator of Wonki Ware, Di Marshall moved from Cape Town to George
20 years ago and it is here where the brand was born. Today Wonki Ware is an
international brand and forerunner in designer dinnerware. Wonki Ware
introduced a whole new look and style of dinnerware to the world. Di Marshall
is well known for her unique shapes which have set the trend and inspired
dinnerware manufacturers globally and continue to do so every day. Wonki Ware
is sold in all major countries around the world, including Japan, known as the
masters in the craft of pottery.

The Wonki Ware makers are true craftsmen in the art of pottery. All our potters
have been self taught and have done their apprenticeships at Wonki Ware. The
core staff have been in the team since the very beginning, 20 years ago. Their
excellent workmanship has made Wonki Ware the brand that it is today. Every
piece is carefully hand-made and goes through 14 sets of hands to get to the end
product, ready to decorate tables around the world. The art of making
pottery is just about as old as mankind, and Wonki Ware has created modern,
vibrant versions which has been reintroduced into kitchens and homes for
everyday enjoyment. Wonki Ware is featured in many top selling cookbooks and
used in the kitchens of Ottolenghi, Nigella and Jamie Oliver to name a few.
Wonki Ware has become a collector’s brand and will continue to inspire and grace
many tables, making a celebration of everyday life.

Passing through at least 14 pairs of hard working hands , clay from the earth,
shaped and formed. Each individual adding their touch in the process of creating
a truly unique and homegrown product.

Terms & Conditions
• A minimum order of R50 000 is required
• We do not accept any returns, however will credit any breakages reported
within 7 days of receipt of goods, accompanied by photographs
• All items should be ordered in multiples of 6 as per our packaging requirements,
accessories can be ordered in boxes of 24
• Lead time for production is 6-8 weeks from confirmation of order
• 40% deposit required before commencement of production
• Please note that allowance needs to be made for a 10% tolerance on final
quantities delivered, due to the nature of Wonki Ware being a handmade product
• Our shipping terms are ex-works or FOB
• RRP to be discussed on order
• Due to being a handmade product, colour, design and shape will vary slightly
