to this office within a week from the date of Its receipt. No application willbe
entertained thereafter.

iv) Letter grade is awarded to the students. Each letter grade indicates the level
of performance in the course and has a grade polint for purpose of computing
the Cumulative Grade Point
Average (CGPA) as given below:

*RA is awarded in subject/s where student obtains 233 marks in
but failed to secure required 225% marks

While calculating CGPA, I or X or RA Grades secured by the student are not
taken into account.
CGPA is the weighted average of all the grades awarded to a
student since
his /her entry into the Institute up to and including the latest semester and
computed as follow:

where Ci denotes credits assigned to the i" course and G indicates the gradee
point equivalent to the letter grade obtained by the student in the th course.
v) To be eligible for the award of each respective degree a student is required to
obtain following minimum CGPA at the end of program:
B.E./B.Tech./M.C.A. = 5.00 CGPA

M.E./M.Tech./M.Sc./M.B.A./M.A. = 5.50 CGPA

vi) Medium of instructions at the Institute is English.


vil) The multiplying factor for conversion of CGPA to percentage of marks is 10.
