groupmates and you will pick a topic that you need to defend, so let’s count

example or e.g. (although these are the most common)
Commonly used abbreviations

i.e. – that is (to say); in other words
viz. – namely; it is/they are
e.g. There are four language skills, viz. listening, speaking, reading
and writing.

Classification is normally made according to a criterion or several
criteria (e.g. age, size, number...)
Here are some transitional expressions in writing effective classification

Application
a. Jeepneys are known for being less safe than other forms of public

out could improve overall road safety.
b. Replacing jeepneys with newer and more modern vehicles can help
modernize the public transportation system and make it more efficient.

people feel a strong attachment to them. Retaining jeepneys can help preserve
this cultural heritage.
d. Many people are rely on the jeepney industry for their livelihoods, from
drivers to mechanics to parts suppliers. Phasing them out could have a
negative impact on these individuals and their communities.
