    Several factors may cause miscarriage:

    ● Incompetent cervix (your cervix begins to open too early in pregnancy).

    ● Disorders of the immune system like lupus.
    ● Severe kidney disease.
    ● Congenital heart disease.
    ● Diabetes that isn't managed.
    ● Thyroid disease.
