 If a certain gasoline weights 43lb/ft3, what are the values of it’s density, specific volume and
specific gravity relative at 60
 If the specific weight of a liquid is 52lb/ft 3, What is it’s density? (answer should be in slugs/ft 3)

COMPRESSIBILITY/ SURFACE TENSION

 A liquid compressed in a cylinder has a volume of 1000 cm 3 at 1MN/m2 and a volume of 995cm3
at 2MN/m2. What is it’s bulk modulus of elasticity (k)?

 From the ff. test data, determine the bulk modulus of elasticity of water: at 500 psi the volume
was 1 ft3 and at 3500 psi the volume was 0.990 ft 3. (answer should be in psi).
