OBJECTIVE

REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

PLASTIC PROJECTS:-
Fuel Tank: -
 Fuel tank is typically a subsystem of engine in which the fuel is stored and supplied to an engine through water separator. Fuel tank is
made of High density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic material.
 Designed by following John Deere standards for various features to sustain creep test, bulge test.
 Checking internal volume to maintain capacity.
 Discussion with supplier for manufacturing feasibility and complete Design Process Assembly Review (DPAR).
 Developed whole assembly consisting of brackets to withstand the weight of a fuel tank.
 Designed brackets to meet aesthetic & functional requirements.
 Made provision for welding and easy access for tool while assembling.
Instrument Panel: -
 Instrument Panel is product in which speedometer, fuel indicator and all gauge meter is mounted. Instrument Panel is made of
Polypropylene material.
 Designed by following John Deere standards for various features to sustain creep test.
 Discussion with supplier for manufacturing feasibility and complete Design Process Assembly Review (DPAR).
 Developed mounting bosses to support all parts mounted on it.
 Designed to meet aesthetic & functional requirements.
 Made provision for easy access for tool while assembling.

Control Support: -
 Control Support is to mount Steering valves and its Oil Lines, Cowl. It is made of Polycarbonate material.
 Designed by following John Deere standards.
 Discussion with supplier for manufacturing feasibility and complete Design Process Assembly Review (DPAR).
 Modified mounting features as per Field issue.

SHEET METAL PROJECTS:-


Hood/ Bonnet Designing: -
 Hood is hinged cover over the engine that allows easy access to engine for maintenance and repair. The objective was to create a
model which was in A Class surface using advance surface modelling tool in CAD software converted into B surface.
 Includes Hood, RH & LH Side panels, and Grill with reinforcement bracket to hold panels.
 Manufacturing process used are Vaccum forming.
 Made hood mounting brackets as well to support hood.
 Create detailing using ASME standards 14.5.

Control support: -
 Control support is typically a structural component used to mount cowl, steering valve, hydraulic oil lines.
 Designed by following John Deere standards for various features to sustain FEA test.
 Create drawing using ASME 14.5 standard.
 Discussion with supplier for manufacturing feasibility and complete Design Process Assembly Review (DPAR).
 Developed whole assembly consisting of brackets to withstand the weight of an assembly.
 Designed brackets to meet aesthetic & functional requirements
 Made provision for welding and easy access for tool while assembling.
 Cost reduction by reducing parts and features made as per ease of manufacturing.
 Create design iterations and same mention in Design review presentation.

Oil Lines Clamping Sheet metal bracket: -


 Sheet metal bracket designed for clamping Oil Lines in a tractor assembly at various junctions.
 Designed by following John Deere standards.
 Create drawing using ASME Y 14.5 standard.
 Discussion with supplier for manufacturing feasibility and complete Design Process Assembly Review (DPAR).
 Designed to meet aesthetic & functional requirements.
 Made provision for easy access for tool while assembling.
 Create design iterations and same mention in Design review presentation.

PIPING PROJECTS:-
Hydraulic pump, Steering, TBV, Fuel Systems Oil Lines Design :-
 Selection of oil lines as per pressure requirement. Selection of hardware and fittings related to oil lines and it should have easy access
while assembling.
 To consider position tolerance value w.r.t outer diameter of pipe and its blank length.
 Creating provision for mounting bracket in a vehicle for oil line clamping.
 Check integration with all around parts.
 Creating drawings as per manufacturability with GD&T standard ASME Y 14.5 standard.
 Checking parts in actual vehicle and take corrective action as per discussion with team.
