Research Design
The research study employed quantitative data gathering. On that premise, a survey was used as a
method of gathering data to dive deeper into the experiences of the involved students. The researchers
constructed 20 Survey Guide Questions (SGQs) pertaining to the factors that affected the students’ career
decision-making, the impacts of forced careers on their emotional well-being, their desired career path,
and their attitude and perceptions toward their situation. The survey was done online through the use of
Google Forms.
Source of Data
The study of this research will be conducted on the Senior High School Students of La Union
Christian Comprehensive College, School Year 2022-2023. It is composed of different strands, which
include Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), General Academic Strand (GAS), and
Technical Vocational Livelihood Track (TVL) students. There are 20 students to be our respondents for
this research. There are 9 boys and 11 girls, ranging in its age from 15 to 18 years old. They were given a
questionnaire form that contains personal information about the respondents and questions about the
research. The questionnaire was sent as a Universal Resource Link (URL) through messenger and email.
The questions contain and focus on how online games affect their studies, their health, and their life.
Survey forms are the research tools employed in the study (checklist and identification). These
selected tools are utilized. Data are gathered to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the research study
being conducted.

The survey form's opening section will inquire about the responders' profiles. The researcher
created a profile-building tool that will ascertain your age, gender, religion, location, and other
fundamental details. This will enable them to prepare themselves to think critically and flexibly when
they respond to the survey. Short questions are provided along with the second section of the survey form.
The respondent will choose one from the options provided beneath each question, and react by examining
the checkmarks.
