Present the short story and read it to the pupils.

Recess

Angel is a grade 2 pupils. She’s one of the outstanding pupils in her


class because she always listen to teacher Amelia and study her lesson at
home. Her favorite hobbies are reading books and watching
knowledgeable movies in her past time. She’s a polite girl, she always
follow her mother and father she respect her classmate that’s why she
has a lots of friends. She eats nutritious foods that’s why she’s healthy.
Her teacher asked her to join to a spelling contest in their school, she
accept it. When she got home she reads dictionary and books to learned
more spellings, there’s no doubt she get the first place in the contest
cause she study hard for it. Angel graduated as a valedictorian of her
class.

C. Modeling
The teacher will identify the cause and effects in the story and tell it to
the class. The teacher will post a chart were written the cause and effects
in the story. The teacher will explain what is cause and effects.
Class when we said cause this is the action we did.
And the effect is the results of our actions.
Using this we can identify the cause and the effects in the events.
