AIKIDO essentially is a martial art which emphasizes the way of spiritual harmony, and hence,
doesn’t crave on aggressiveness and pan-competitive attitude. During the developmental stages of
life, the coordinative activities associated with harmonic
ipsilateral, contralateral and bilateral movements involved in
AIKIDO (the way of spiritual harmony) ensures outstanding
improvement in joint mobility, psychomotor development, and
neuromuscular conditioning of children.

Training of AIKIDO is extremely effective in stress


reduction, emotional integrity, faster neural processing,
cognitive enhancement and consequent excellence in
academic performances. It improves spatial awareness, and
hence emphasizes self-awareness. Precisely, under critical
circumstances, training of AIKIDO reinforces cognitive
flexibility and emotional adaptiveness, patience and
resilience, and ensures ultimate success.

To reiterate, it could be affirmed that Aikido training would ensure the wholesome development of children, adolescent
and young-adult individuals; which would lead to personal and social integration; group-bonding; team building and
healthy personal enhancement towards “Preparedness for all the Challenges of Tomorrow”.

Detailed particulars of the training sessions are given below:


1. Training Sessions : (1 hr./session)/ day/group.
2. Number of training sessions/day : 3 sessions (15:30 – 18:30) p.m.
3. Number of training sessions/group : 2 sessions/week.
4. Total number of days : 4 days/week (two weekdays & weekend days).
5. Total number of sessions : 12 sessions/week.
6. Dress Codes : Martial Art dress (Otherwise Tracksuits).
7. Required Practice Venue (dojo) : The indoor set-up within TIGPS.
8. Required Facilities : Practice Mats (Interlocking EVA mats).
9. Additional Facilities : Martial Art Weapons (required later).

Training sessions will be designed, monitored and supervised by Sensei Avijit Mitra (Chief Instructor, Academy of
Aikido, India). Weekend sessions will be primarily conducted by Sensei Avijit Mitra, and during the weekdays training
sessions (which will be basically practice sessions) will be conducted and monitored by other senior instructors.
Martial art training sessions are being imparted in diffferent forms, across the globe and also in different corners of
West Bengal. This sophisticated, advanced, absolutely authentic and internationally vaidated training has been
standardised and practiced everywhere in the world (all over the Europe, North and South Americas, Asia-Oceania
and Africa) for quite a few decades. We are ensuring introduction of this innovatively designed and substantially
scientific martial art training (AIKIDO) method within your reach to confirm wholesome development of the children,
pre-adoloescent and young-adolescent students of TIGPS, Hooghly.
For imparting this training, Internationally acclaimed traineers are being invited and they are going to deliver the
globally authentic and genuine most training to the students of TIGPS. Paying a monthly minimum amount of fee,
