I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:
Cognitive: Students will be able to explain the differences of Hazard
and Risks.
Affective: The learners shall be able to consistently observe
precautionary measures and respond to risks and hazards in
the workplace.
Psychomotor: Students will be to identify hazards and risks.

GAME: “Picture Puzzle”

Mechanics:
1. The teacher will call two (2) groups (Students solving the puzzle)
of students with two (10) members each
group.

2. Each of the grouped students will

3. C. Abstraction The important reason for identifying
hazards in the workplace. It's impossible
to remove or mitigate something you're
unaware of, so you must be diligent in
identifying and handling hazards
properly to reduce or eliminate the risk
of injury or death.

Risk is the chance or probability that a


person will be harmed or experience an
adverse health effect if exposed to a
hazard. It may also apply to situations
property or equipment loss, or

harmful effects on the environment.

the workplace.

Knowledge and training in appropriate


procedures are critical to avoid unsafe
work practices. Administration,
leadership, and supervision help ensure
workers follow and safe practices.
D. Application Group Activity

I will divide you into 4 groups and each


group will think what are the possible
hazard and risk you usually see here in
your school.

I will give you 5 minutes and after that


we will check your answer, also the
