Bernaditta : Hi everyone, welcome to the Global News. I am Bernaditta and I will be

accompanying you to fourty-five minutes forward.

Today’s news is about the earthquake in Jakarta that has afflicted the people in middle
January. 

The earthquake measuring 6.7 Richter scale shocked residents, but did not have the
potential for a tsunami.

We are going to see how the current condition is after the latest earthquake and how
people deal with the situation.

Shortly we will be going live to our reporter in the area. I’m connecting to Satria who
is now in the location.

“hallo satria, could you please report the current condition?

Reporter

Satria: “hallo, good morning bernaditta, all right I am going to give my report today
about earthquake in Jakarta.”

Well Today, I am at the location. Earthquake was hit Jakarta in January, measuring 6.7
richter scale. Reported there was no victim killed because of the incident however there
were two people injured. They can escape when the incident happened. but they were
not in serious wound. So now I am with sari as a victim. I am going interview her about
her condition. Hello good morning sari, how are you?

Witness/ victim (sari): morning, sir. I am well but I am still trauma because of the
incident.

Satria: so can you tell us about the incident?

Sari: the incident suddenly happened in the morning at 4. 00 am. I was still sleeping.
Suddenly it was happened and my house destroyed because of it. I was wound
because the roof tiles of house were collapsed. Thanks God, my neighbor helped me.

Satria: okay thanks for your information, wish you get well soon.

Now, I am connecting with the officer of BMKG with Mr. Ali syahbana.

Satria: good morning Mr Ali, how are you?

Officer of BMKG: morning, I am good.

Satria: could you tell me sir, the cause of earthquake?

Officer of BMKG: Earthquake occurred because of the collision of tectonic plates of

pacific.
