He wanted to improve his fitness and get rid of his belly

Running was easy to get better at, and the writer thus got addicted to it.

Life has become sterile and boring for people in the work life, so they are for something exciting to

do by taking part in extreme sports. This is also because they want to re-engage with their lives.

Some of them are interested in marathons as they want to test and improve their fitness and are not so

interested in the glamour they get, It might also be less competitive than Ironman competitions as fewer

people may know about it, making it easier to win. A sincere sportperson is interested in feeling a sense

of satisfaction when they complete a marathon or race, and not always the reaction of the audience towards
the person.
