bases. Find the length of its altitude.

is 40 𝑐𝑚 deep, how many liters of water can it accommodate?

11. The angles of an oblique parallelepiped are equal to the corresponding angles of another
parallelepiped, and the sides of the first are three times the corresponding sides of the
second. Compare their total areas and volumes.

Answers: The total surface area of the bigger parallelepiped is 9 times greater than the
total surface area of the smaller parallelepiped. The volume of the second (bigger)
parallelepiped is 27 times greater than the first (smaller).

(b) The volumes of prisms 𝑩𝑪𝑾 − 𝑹𝑺𝒁 and 𝑨𝑾𝑫 − 𝑸𝒁𝑻 are equal.
(c) The volume of prism 𝑾𝑨𝑩 − 𝒁𝑸𝑹 is twice the volume of prism 𝑿𝑾𝑪 − 𝒀𝒁𝑺.
