These two graphs are necessary to answer: "Should countries switch mostly to nuclear power,

as France has done?"

The left-hand bar graph compares the number of deaths from air pollution and accidents per
Terawatt-hour (TWh), a measure of electrical energy.

The right pie chart shows that with the switch to nuclear power, as France did, they have more
clean energy and use less dirty energy, which leaves a carbon footprint and causes deaths from
air pollution.

Germany has made the switch to green energy, but green energy cannot adjust to the changing
demand of energy consumers and is dependent on variable weather conditions. For these
reasons, they additionally use carbon-based fuels, and this is causing increased air pollution and
deaths from air pollution.

On the basis of the data from these two graphs we can conclude that nuclear power is safer
and that the rumored death toll from nuclear accidents is much lower than the death toll from
air pollution.
