Range and sizing
• Assumptions:
• almost full payload (80915,3kg)
• OEW: 274803kg (3,6% error)

• Range = 10751,8km vs 12084km from piano (11% error)
Efficiency of
the A380-800
•Comparison of the SFC of 3 AC
(A380, A340, B787) in
function of the payload and
the range to know the
conditions where the A380 is
the most efficient. A380 is
the most efficient if payload
is at least 75% of the max
payload. Under that, other AC
have lower SFC but less
range.

•Based on this I have the
requirements for a H2 engine.

in the domain of best efficiency.
