I. Objectives:
At the end of a 15 minute class, the students are expected to:
a) Identify the 5 basic fundamental positions of the feet
b) Execute the 5 basic fundamental positions of the feet with precision.
c) Appreciate the skills in performing the basic fundamental position of the feet.

II. Learning Content:


Topic: Five Basic Fundamental Positions of the Feet
Reference: Modules in Physical Education Grade 7 – Quarter 3 – Week 1 – 2

A. Preliminary Activity
a.1. Prayer
Good morning class! All: Good Morning, Ma’am!

Before we start our lesson for today, let’s


us bow our heads and pray. (The students will stand up for the
prayer)

All: Father God, come be with us today.

Fill our minds with learning.
Fill our classrooms with peace.
Fill our lessons with fun.
Fill our friendships with kindness.

Uniform.

like she’s warming up before doing a
dance or a routine.

Let’s proceed to our discussion
“Five Fundamental Positions of the Feet”

Everybody please read, the first position


of the feet.
All: First position – bring heels close to
touch; toes apart.

Next is, the second position for the feet.

All: Second position – bring feet apart
sideward.
(The students will perform the second
position of the feet)

So who can demonstrate the second

Okay, Jhazel. You do it. (Jhazel will do a demonstration of the


second position of the feet)

Very good. So again this is the second


position for the feet.

Next is, the Third Position of the feet.


Please read class. All: Third position – bring the heel of one
foot to touch the instep of the other foot.

All: Fourth position – bring one foot in


front of the other foot to walk strike.

Now, Please read the Fifth and Last


position for the feet.
All: Fifth position – bring the heel of one
foot to touch the toe of the other.

Now, let’s do the Second Position of the


arms and feet

Proceed to the Third Position of the arms (Students will clap their hands)
and feet.
Next, the Fourth Position of the Feet.

And Lastly, the Fifth Position of the feet.

b.3. Activity/Application

So we’re done in our discussion. For your


activity for today. You will perform the (The students put their blindfolds on)
basic fundamental positions of the feet.
But, every one of you will be blindfolded
while participating in the exercise. (The students will perform the given
Basic Fundamental Position)
So for the, Rubrics:
Mastery - 30% (The students will clap their hands)
Precision - 30%
Execution - 40%

C. Quieting Activity
In this section of the session, I'd want to
conclude our activity with some cool-
down exercises to help us all avoid
injuries and, if there is any muscle
