Mr. Christopher Thacker, Managing Partner

Towson Cornerstone Group
7800 York Road
Towson, Maryland 21252

Mr. Thacker

I was very happy to see Towson Cornerstone Group had a business analyst
intern position open for hiring. Towson Cornerstone Group is a staple in the
Towson community and can always be trusted to do quality work. When on
the look out for a new job the decision was very clear to me to apply for this
internship. I hope that I will be strongly considered for this job as I already
have experience as a financial analyst with a big firm at Oracle. I also believe
that my time with the Towson University baseball team can benefit Towson
Cornerstone Group because it has taught me valuable life lessons such as
time management, hard work, and communication skills.

During my time at Towson, I have maintained a 3.36 cumulative GPA while

being on the deans list in two semesters and on the CAA Commissioner’s
Honor roll every semester to date. The hard work I put in on the baseball
field has directly correlated to the classroom as my grades have shown. Not
only can I bring a hard-working attitude to the table, but I also am a critical
thinker with great communication skills, often relating to my piers to create
easy flowing conversation. I have learned to apply these skills to the subjects
I am most proficient and interested in such as finance, accounting, and
business management.

In 2019, I had the opportunity to internship as a financial analyst at Oracle.

This was a great opportunity for me as I got to understand what I would be
doing as a financial analyst on a daily basis. While I was there, I used my
Excel Spreadsheet skill set and sorted a spreadsheet with thousands of
current and future clients. Also, while there I sat in on multiple calls with the
Vice President of Operations picking up on important skills like how to
communicate with piers in the workplace and how to hold people
accountable.
My skillset is something that is very much in line with what Towson
Cornerstone Group is trying to find. I think I would be a huge asset to the
company as a whole and we could take this company to the next level. I
would love to set up a future interview so that you can better understand the
type of person I am and what I can offer. Feel free to contact me any time at
410-608-6571. I look forward to speaking with you very soon, and I thank
you for the time out of your day.

Sincerely,

Tyler M. Russo
