Becoming Your Best Self—How Would I Need to Think and Behave?

After evaluating the different roles you play (whether they’re in your career, family, or
elsewhere), which roles do you feel are the MOST important for you to change in order to fully
embrace your BEST self?

For each role you wish to change, ask yourself the following questions:
• What needs to be changed about how I THINK about what this role is and who I am in it?

• What needs to be changed about my BEHAVIOR?

• Next, after looking at your talents and passions, what did you determine your life has
been preparing you for?

• In what ways are you not currently living up to this greater purpose and mission in your
life?

• How are you not using your potential?

• What needs to be changed about how I THINK about yourself, your life, and the gifts you
have to offer this world in order for you to move forward in the direction of your greater
purpose?

• What BEHAVIORS do you need to stop, change, or start in order to live in integrity with
your best self? For instance:
o What things that you enjoy doing, are great at, and make you feel alive do you
need to do more of?

o What are you passionate about that you want to spend more of your time focused
on? How can you make your passions a priority?

o What do you need to learn more about or practice in order to use your gifts and go
for your dreams?
