MK7/7.5 Golf/GTI/R OEM Wireless Charger Harness Guide 


Harness Overview

Step 1 - Remove Original Storage Cubby, Lower Kick Panel

Trim, run wireless charger harness behind storage cubby area,
and Install Wireless Charger Storage Cubby.

Step 2 - On Driver Side, locate BCM/CECM Module, Unplug and

Lower Plug C

Remove Connector Housing and Install Wireless Charger

Harness Wire (White/Grey) into Slot 14

(IF EQUIPPED WITH KESSY, Connect Existing White Wire installed

into Pin 14 with Wireless Charger Harness Wire (White/Grey)

Step 3 - Locate Fuse Box, Remove bolt on left side and use for
Wireless Charger Harness Ground Wire (Brown)

Step 4 - Using a ATC Fuse Tap, Connect the Wireless Charger

Harness 12v Wire (Red) to a Ignition Switched Fuse

Step 5 - Move to Passenger Side, Remove Glovebox and route

Wireless Charger Harness Radio Plug wires to Quadlock
Connector.



Remove Quadlock connector from Radio

Remove Grey Connector from Quadlock

Insert Wireless Charger Harness Wires Into Grey Connector

(Yellow/Red - Pin 5 | Yellow/Blue - Pin 11)

Step 6 - Coding

Using VCDS, OBDEleven, or VCP

Enter 5F Module

Long Coding

Byte 15

CHECK Bit 5 (Wireless Charger/Wireless Charging Availability)

Save

Step 7 - Test Charger, Reassemble Interior Trim & Glovebox.
