Rally Commissioner

Position Assessment: The month of September was all homecoming focused. Not only was I
busy with my own homecoming events, but I was also heavily involved in my class’s tasks and
preparation, the biggest one being our class dance. We met at April’s house a couple times a
week to master the dance, which was so fun and a great bonding experience for our class. As for
my specific job, Heaven and I got to work on September thirteenth as we had a mini meeting
with Morty and Makenzie about what needs to happen at each rally and the overall message we
wanted to portray. The first rally, which was the pep rally, took the most prep work. We had to hit
on so many key events, those of which being the fashion show, a class game, Grand Marshall
reveal, and Court reveal. Shout out to Makenzie and band! The candidate rally didn't take too
much focus from Heaven and I as we both were on court and so Ava and Elias took over and
they did such a good job. We received a ton of positive feedback on that. The night rally was also
pretty easy on our part as we didn’t have to conduct the main focus because it was all about the
classes. However, people had so much fun and overall it was a huge success.
Standing Committee: No standard committees of mine were needed during the month of
September or homecoming.
Special Committee: Most special committees were needed during the time of rallies which I
so well but we also are comfortable with each other so if she has any questions she doesn’t
hesitate to ask for my help. All of homecoming was crazy busy but we were still there for
Concerns: As of now, I don't have any concerns that affect the class. I am proud of how hard
Positive Comment: I would like to leave a positive comment for our senior class officers. Not
only did the seniors win homecoming, but the work that was put into this win was absolutely
amazing. From organizing and putting up with a bunch of seventeen-year-olds two times a week,
to making a float, to the creativity that went into window decor and the lemonade stands, it was
One Change: One change I have for this program is I think we should get rid of the Halloween
dance. No one goes to it, it is too close after homecoming, it is too much for the freshmen, and
My Impact: My impact this past month has been the spirit I bring to the rallies. I not only dress
up spirited but I do my best to create a judgmental-free atmosphere and a safe, positive place
where our school can feel united and happy. Rallies are a huge part of a high school experience
