ELEC 4/PA 6 – Final Project

A project management plan should include the following sections:

1. Executive Summary: A short description of the contents of the


project-definition of the topic (example : Romance scam, History,
Objectives of your research))

2. Project Scope & Deliverables: An outline of the boundaries of the project,


and a description of how the project will be broken down into measurable
deliverables.

Example format:
3.Project Schedule: A high-level view of project tasks and milestones (Gantt
charts are handy for this)

4.Project Resources: The budget, personnel, and other resources required to meet


project goals

A Resource Plan identifies the physical resources required to


complete the project. A typical Resource Plan
includes:

 A list of the types of resources (labor, equipment and materials) required


 A schedule outlining when each of the resources is required to be utilized
 An assignment of each resource to a set of activities to be completed.
 To create a Resource Plan, the following steps are undertaken:
 List the general types of resources to be utilized on the project
 Identify the number of resources and purpose of each type of resource
 Identify when the resources are required by completing a ‘Resource Schedule’
table
 Allocate the resources to project activities by completing a ‘Resource Usage’
table.

project and a plan for how issues will be identified, addressed, and controlled
