Greetings!

The AMFAN CLAN AGRO-INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION, INC. has applied for grant under the
DBP Native Seed Tree Bank Project through Massive Production of Giant Bamboo Materials. This projects
aims to develop/establish two (2) giant bamboo nurseries with a total estimated cost of Php 2.5 Million
(or 1.250 Million pesos for each nurseries) will be developed/established at Brgy. Tudok and Barangay
Dlanag, T’boli, South Cotabato.

Likewise, Development Bank of the Philippines has approved its application for the establishment of
two (2) giant bamboo nursery projects on March 1, 2022 by the DBP Management Committee under
the DBP Native Tree Seed Bank Projects.

Moreover, we glad to inform you that the following activities are already fully implemented, to wit:
a. Lay-out, clearing and fencing;
b. Installation of power source, watering facility and irrigation;
c. Establishment of Bamboo Nursery (Working shed/storage and germination beds); and
d. Purchase of Wood lumber for the working shed/storage and germination beds
In this connection, we would like to request your good office for the release of funds amounting to ONE
MILLION FOUR HUNDRED NINETY FOUR THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE (Php 1,494,
675.00) pesos for the implementation of the 2 ND Part of the establishment of two nurseries at Brgy.
Tudok and Brgy Datal Dlanag, Tboli, South Cotabato.
