Notice of Thesis Submission:

3 months prior to submission of the full thesis for examination, students are required to submit the
Notice of Thesis Submission. Normally, when the thesis is about 90% ready, students can already
submit this notice.

The documents required for submission:

1) CPSF9 form (Notice of Thesis Submission) - duly signed by student, supervisor & HOPP prior to
submission to CPS Office
2) Thesis Table of Content
3) Summary of research/Abstract

This is done 3 months ahead of thesis submission to allow for nomination of examiners to be in place
before the full thesis is submitted. Please be informed that the appointment of External Examiners
must be approved by the Senate of IUKL and the Senate meets only once a month, or sometimes
once every 2 months.

Notice for Submission of Thesis for Examination:

This notice is normally submitted 3 months after the submission of the CPSF9 form. At this point, the
appointment of External Examiners is already approved by the Senate of IUKL.

The documents required for submission:

1) CPSF4 form (Notice of Submission of Thesis for Examination) - duly signed by student, supervisor
& HOPP prior to submission to CPS Office
2) Full thesis
- For a virtual viva voce session, only softcopy is required; however, students need to provide soft-
bound copies if requested by any of the examiners
- For a face-to-face viva voce session, students are required to submit (i) 4 soft-bound copies, and
(ii) 1 softcopy in PDF format of the thesis.
3) Plagiarism Checker/Turnitin Report (Similarity Index < 30%).
4) CPSF10 form (Proof of Publication) - duly signed by supervisor; fulfilled publication requirements
